I'm still figuring out how to post or format a thread, and this is all very new to me. I'm the greenest of the green when it comes to fan fiction writing but I hope this fanfiction can become a succesful one.I know how quests work, but I'm unsure of how the numbers for the calculations and rolls are obtained. Do I just set values and use RNG to determine the odds of success? As in set values for the modifiers that increase probability and what not myself? Can anyone help explain? I've wanted to write a tinker quest for a while now, because there's not much else to be doing while in quarantine. If anyone can explain how votes are tallied and weighted and chosen that would be great too. How long do I have to wait before closing the vote? These are things I don't really know how to do just yet.
